Last updated: 25 March 2026

1. Agreement

By accessing smoothsailor.io or engaging SmoothSailor for services, you agree to these terms. SmoothSailor is operated by Lahiru Wijesuriya, based in Australia.

2. Services

SmoothSailor provides AI automation consulting, design, engineering, and ongoing support services for businesses. The scope, deliverables, and timeline for each engagement are agreed upon during the consultation and documented before work begins.

3. Consultation

Initial consultations are free and carry no obligation. They serve to assess your needs and determine whether SmoothSailor is a good fit for your project.

4. Payment

Payment terms, amounts, and schedules are agreed upon before work commences and documented in a project agreement. All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated.

5. Intellectual property

Upon full payment, you own the custom automation systems, workflows, and configurations built for your business. You retain ownership of your business data, content, and assets at all times. SmoothSailor retains the right to use general knowledge, techniques, and non-confidential methodologies gained during the engagement.

6. Confidentiality

We treat all client information as confidential. We will not share your business data, workflows, or proprietary information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

7. Limitation of liability

SmoothSailor's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for those services. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including lost profits or data loss.

8. No lock-in

You are not locked into long-term contracts. Ongoing support engagements can be cancelled with 30 days' written notice. Automation systems built for you remain yours after the engagement ends.

9. Website use

This website is provided as-is. We make reasonable efforts to keep it accurate and available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. You may not use this website for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage or impair its availability.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in Australian courts.
